Feeling tired after being around people and unsure as to why? Wonder if you’re masking your traits of ADHD? Keep reading.

As a licensed professional who works mainly with neurocomplex adults, I’ve compiled an 8-page resource that includes the following particulars:

  1. A comprehensive list of 40 Signs of Masking Traits of ADHD (and AuDHD)

  2. How each of these traits correspond directly with the most current diagnostic criteria (DSM-5-TR) used to professionally assess for ADHD (and AuDHD!)

Download this resource:

  • To prepare for an upcoming ADHD assessment

  • For self-exploration around ADHD (or AuDHD)

  • As a clinician, to increase competence in this presentation in high masking ADHD/AuDHDer clients

  • To better understand an ADHDer family member, friend, or employee

  • To share with your therapist, coach, partner, or medical provider

Why is it so important to understand your signs of masking your ADHD traits?

  • Masking any aspect of self uses a great deal of your finite energy, contributing to exhaustion, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and even burnout.

  • Masking traits of ADHD may prevent an accurate understanding of your wiring, possibly contributing to misdiagnosis and/or identity confusion

  • Masking may contribute to an overall lack of sense of authentic connection in relationships due to only sharing parts of one's self with others, while hiding others that they feel are undesirable

Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below after you give it a look!

You’re amazing. Stay weird.
