Time to get up close and personal with a social dilemma that has been haunting my subconscious, and relationships, for as long as I can recall. I refer to this previously unnamed social confusion as “The Closeness Conundrum” and I wonder if this social developmental misunderstanding may be a key social difference between Neurocomplex (Autistic, Gifted and/or ADHDer) and neurotypical wiring that, when unidentified, contributes to social misunderstanding and, at times, unnecessary relational agony.
